Dye inks are known as transparent water-based inks. Distress also reacts with water. The ink continues to react when you add water, even hours or days later. Spray water for beautiful watercolor effects or blend different Distress Ink colors together using a blending tool.
The intense color remains vibrant even after heating or contact with water. This makes the stamp ink suitable for multiple uses, such as watercolor and embossing. Distress is perfect for mixed media projects where you combine various materials and techniques.
